Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location: Bluffton, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Acute Care RN with Telemetry on a Medical-Surgical unit
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every 4th weekend
No on-call requirements
Blocked scheduling option available
Patient ratio: 1:6 for acute care, 1:10 for swing beds
Unit size: 20 beds within a 40-licensed bed facility (including 10 swing beds)
Average daily census: 10 patients
Scrub color: Navy blue
EMR system: Cerner preferred
No floating required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Additional Requirements

Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Submission must include required license, certifications, and driver’s license with permanent home address matching ID

Work Schedule

36 hours per week
Night shift with every 4th weekend worked

Facility Information

Community hospital with 40 licensed beds including 10 swing beds
Progressive care and swing unit experience relevant

This position is suitable for experienced acute care RNs with telemetry skills seeking a travel assignment on night shift in a moderate-sized hospital setting.
