Job Overview

Location: Florence, Alabama
Employment type: Travel

Shift: 7p–7a
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start timing: Must be able to start 7–10 days after offer acceptance
Scheduling: Weekly orientation on Mondays; blocked scheduling available
Float requirement: Postpartum

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS or ALS-OB
NRP
EFM
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
OB/GYN experience

Patient population: Adults
Patient ratio: 1:1
Unit size: 9 beds

Common Clinical Presentations

Normal spontaneous labor
Preterm labor
Gestational hypertension
Preeclampsia
Placenta previa
Placental abruption
Fetal distress
Umbilical cord prolapse
Postpartum hemorrhage

Work Environment Notes

Must be adaptable, a team player, detail-oriented, and able to communicate well
Ceil blue scrubs required
Non-compliant scrub colors, slogan/graphic scrubs, and inappropriate footwear are not allowed
