RN Medical

Location

Hilo, Hawaii

Contract Details

15-week contract
36 hours per week after the first full week of orientation
Day shift
Must be flexible with varying shift lengths and days
No guarantee of hours or shift preference

Role Overview

Provides RN med/surg-level care for patients age 18 and over
May float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Med Surg experience
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS

Preferred

ACLS

Additional Notes

No holiday RTO requests
Must arrive the Thursday before start for a Friday employee health appointment
First-week orientation is included
Uses Meditech EMR and unit equipment such as Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
