RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

Travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina
Contract length: 13 weeks
36 hours per week
Emergency Department setting

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
CPI

Schedule

Every other weekend
Must be flexible to work in all areas of the ED

Unit Details

101 beds
Typical patient ratio: 4:1 for medical patients; up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
No floating outside the ED
Navy scrubs required

Additional Notes

Previous HCA experience is preferred
Teamwork and real-time coaching/feedback are emphasized
Cerner is used for documentation
