RN – Labor & Delivery

Job Overview

Travel RN position in Ottumwa, Iowa
Shift: 7p–7a
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Call: none
Floating: may float within the hospital to other units as needed
Housing options are available at additional cost

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN
STABLE

Onboarding Requirements

Iowa SING background check with criminal and child abuse portions
All county and state background checks fully cleared before start
Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult
10-panel drug screen including opiates
Titers within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB

Additional Notes

Start dates allowed on Monday or Tuesday
Unit ratios: active labor 1:1; couplet care 3:1
