RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

  • Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Hours per week: 36

Unit Details

  • Setting: Emergency Department
  • Bed count: 32
  • Staffing: 1 charge RN, 3 RNs, and 2 EMT/Medics on day shift; 5 RNs and 1 medic during midshift; 1 charge, 3 RNs, and 1 EMT/Medics on night shift
  • Typical patient ratios: 1:4; vertical care space 1:6
  • Common procedures: Triage, assessment, conscious sedation, splinting

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • NIHSS
  • ENPC
  • CPI
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Meditech experience
