Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location

• Lewiston, Idaho

Employment Type

• Travel assignment
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (4 – 10’s)
• 40 guaranteed hours weekly
• On-call/call-back only on weekends with 10 call shifts per month

Unit and Patient Care Details

• 2-room Cardiac Cath Lab
• Level 3 Trauma, Level 1 Cardiac, Level 2 Stroke center
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Heavy Interventional Radiology (IR) lab with stroke treatment
• Equipment used: Philips Xper
• Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
• Patient population includes high acuity cases in a rural setting

Required Qualifications

• License: Cath Lab Tech license (ARRT or RCIS certification required)
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty (use higher value)
• Prior travel experience is required; candidates must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• Education: Registered Nurses must hold RN license; Cath Lab Techs must have ARRT or RCIS certification

Preferred Experience

• Interventional Radiology Cath Lab experience with neuro and stroke cases
• Familiarity with cardiac diagnostics, STEMI, device implants, angiograms, stroke treatment, cerebral procedures, AAA, and TCAR

Additional Notes

• The lab is a platinum awarded Chest Pain Center
• Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal onboarding
• Scrub color: hospital-issued scrubs only; no other attire allowed

This position is ideal for experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Techs who have prior travel experience and are comfortable working in a high-acuity, rural hospital setting with advanced interventional procedures.
