Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location

• Lewiston, Idaho

• Travel contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40
• Weekend hours: On-call/call-back only
• Call requirements: 10 call shifts per month

Unit and Patient Population

• 2-room Cardiac Cath Lab
• Level 3 Trauma, Level 1 Cardiac, Level 2 Stroke center
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Patient population includes high acuity cardiac and stroke patients
• Heavy Interventional Radiology (IR) lab with stroke treatment capabilities
• Equipment used: Philips Xper
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Recent Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT or RCIS certification/licensure for Cath Lab Technologist role

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in Interventional Radiology Cath Lab with neuro and stroke cases
• Familiarity with cardiac diagnostics, STEMI, device implants
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures such as angiogram, runoff, cerebral interventions, AAA, and TCAR
