Radiologic Technologist

Location: Morristown, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Nights / Varied — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, including CT scans. The role also involves portable imaging, C-arm operation, patient transport, clerical tasks, and use of the hospital computer system and PACS.

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Vermont
CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
Radiology Technologist experience

Key Responsibilities

Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
Adjust technical factors to minimize radiation exposure
Follow radiation safety practices
Assume temporary responsibility for patients during x-ray procedures
Support the psycho-social needs of the patient population served
