Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Job Overview

Location: Highland Hills, Ohio
Employment type: Travel

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Previous psych/detox experience

Clinical Setting

Patient population: Ages 18 to 99
Bed count: 24
Patient ratio: 1:4
Floating: Staff float to all 3 units as needed

Key Skills and Attributes

Ability to recognize mental health as an illness
Compassionate toward mental health patients
Proactive during downtime
Comfortable with patient comments

Common Diagnoses / Treatment

Detox
Depression
Psychosis

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs
