**Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - OR Specialist!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Travel RN - OR - **Shift:** 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM - **Duration:** 13 Weeks - **Location:** San Jose, CA - **Licensure:** California RN license required prior to submission **Unit Information:** - **Number of Operating Rooms:** 12 - **Staffing:** - Total RNs: 38 (including 6 PD RNs) - Benefited Techs: 12 (including 1 PD Tech) - **Typical Staffing:** - Day Shift: 16 Benefited RNs (including charge), 6-7 OR Techs - Mid Shift: 4 Teams - Evening Shift: 1 Team **Equipment & EMR:** - Periop equipment - EMR System: Meditech **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional patient care in the OR. - Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including: - Neuro, Spine, Total Joint, Gastric Sleeves, Major General Surgery, ENT, Pediatric, Urology, Heart (CABG and Valves) - Ability to float to pre-op when necessary. **Candidate Qualifications:** - **Required Skills:** - Heart experience in the heart room is mandatory. - **Preferred Skills:** - CNOR certification is advantageous. - Experience in specialties such as Robotics, Ortho, Eye, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Thoracic, and General Surgery. **Personality Fit:** - Team-oriented, flexible, and personable. **Certifications Needed:** - CNOR (preferred) - California RN License - BLS Certification **Work Environment:** - Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs. - Orientation on unit policies will be provided on-site. **On Call & Weekends:** - Participation in call rotation with staff, details to be discussed during the interview. **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
