Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Assignment
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Respiratory Therapy Unit (4th Floor)
- Respiratory Therapist covers all units (floating)
Typical Procedures
- Ventilator setup (neonate through adult)
- High Flow in NICU
- Nebulizer treatments
- Nitric Oxide therapy
- Flolan therapy
- BiPAP
- Bubble CPAP
- EKGs
Requirements/Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2 years of experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU) settings
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience
- Level 2 care experience
Additional Information
- Must have skills in ER/CCU, NICU, Level 2 care, and EKG interpretation
- Dress code: Hospital scrubs
- Weekend and on-call availability required
