Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
EFM
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Post Partum experience

Preferred

BSN

Unit Details

14 labor and delivery beds
9 antepartum beds
Patient ratios: 1:1 for final stage labor or C-section; 1:4 for antepartum
Floating may include postpartum

Common Responsibilities

Care for laboring patients
Assist in the OR with C-sections

Work Environment

Core staff includes RNs and CSTs
Weekend and call rotation may apply
Scrub color: royal blue
