Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- CPI
- NIH Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Trauma experience
- TNCC
- Meditech experience
Unit Details
- Emergency department with 22 beds
- Approximate staff size: 50
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Potential floating to a freestanding emergency department about 15 minutes away
Schedule
- Every other weekend
- At least 1 Friday and 1 Monday in a 4-week schedule
- No on-call required

- Strong IV skills for adults and pediatrics
- Excellent communication skills
- Cardioversion
- Central line placements
- Cardiac arrests
- IV insertions
- EKGs
- Pacemaker interrogation
- Code stroke protocol
- Code sepsis protocol
- Suture/abscess setup
