Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Scrubbing experience in the cardiac catheterization lab
Preferred Qualifications
- Holding experience
- Monitoring experience
Unit Details
- Cardiac cath lab
- 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites
- 9 staff members
- Patient ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient
- Equipment includes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab
- EMR used: Meditech
Procedures
- LHC
- RHC
- PCI
- Peripheral diagnostic and intervention
- Pacers
- ICDs
- Cardioversions
- TEE
- Tilt table tests
- Dobutamine stress test
Scheduling Notes
- 1 to 2 call shifts per week
- About every third weekend
- Must be housed within 30 minutes of the cath lab
