Case Manager
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Eureka, California
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
- 40 hours per week
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Acute Care Case Management (2 years of experience)
- Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Every other weekend required
- Call not required
- Floating between like units may be required based on need
Candidate Considerations
- First-time travelers accepted with clinical approval
- Local candidates accepted
Documentation and Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
- E-Verify attestation
- Background check and education verification required
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Skills checklist required for the applicable unit
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance required
- TB clearance required
- Tdap within 10 years
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, COVID, and respirator clearance requirements apply
Work Environment and Support
- Epic charting
- Free parking on first day; assignment parking provided during orientation
- Housing support is available if needed, including help finding housing
