Operating Room Technician

CVORT: Certified Scrub tech

Assignment Details

14-week contract
10-hour rotating shifts (day/evening)
40 hours per week
Floating required
Call as required
Weekends as needed
Travelers must work 2 of these 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day
No block schedules for any reason
Bi-weekly orientations on Monday

Required Qualifications

AHA BLS
NBSTSA
2 years of OR experience
Prior travel experience required
Large teaching hospital experience required
Level 1 trauma within the last year and at least 1 year in work experience
Experience in single scrub capacity in CT cases
Solid knowledge base including ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro

Preferred Qualifications

CNOR

Additional Notes

Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is strongly recommended
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
All work history information must be complete to submit
