Description
Operating Room Technician
Role
- OR Tech - CV
- CVORT: Certified Scrub tech
Assignment Details
- 14-week contract
- 10-hour rotating shifts (day/evening)
- 40 hours per week
- Floating required
- Call as required
- Weekends as needed
- Travelers must work 2 of these 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day
- No block schedules for any reason
- Bi-weekly orientations on Monday
Required Qualifications
- AHA BLS
- NBSTSA
- 2 years of OR experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Large teaching hospital experience required
- Level 1 trauma within the last year and at least 1 year in work experience
- Experience in single scrub capacity in CT cases
- Solid knowledge base including ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR
Additional Notes
- Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is strongly recommended
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- All work history information must be complete to submit
