RN - Emergency Dept
Job Overview
- Travel RN role in an emergency department in San Antonio, Texas
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift options: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Every other weekend
- Call required
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Floating required as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- CEN
- Meditech experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Unit Details
- Emergency department
- Procedures include conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis care, stroke care with tPA administration, and chest pain/heart alert response
Work Expectations
- Must follow unit dress code and appearance policies
- Must comply with floating, attendance, and acknowledgement form policies
