Travel RN - Orthopedic Surgery

Overview

Travel assignment in Colorado
36 hours per week
7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
Orthopedics (2 years of experience)
Orthopedics experience within the last year
Orthopedic Surgery experience

Preferred Experience

Orthopedic/trauma background
Medical/surgical experience

Unit Details

44-bed orthopedic unit
Typical patient ratio: 1:5, with a maximum of 1:6 when possible
Common equipment includes lifts for mobility, chest tubes, Hemavac drains, wound vacs, JP drains, PCA, and Foley
Common procedures include drain removal and PICC line placements with the infusion team
