**Join Our Dynamic Float Team as an RN for PCU!** Are you ready to take your nursing career to the next level? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Registered Nurse to join our float team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your experience and make a significant impact on patient care! **Key Details:** - **Start Date:** 10/19 - **Assignment Length:** 16-26 weeks - **Work Schedule:** Monday to Sunday with no block schedules - **Orientation:** Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays; next available is 11/02 **Responsibilities:** - Float between units as needed, providing high-quality nursing care - Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate unit needs and ensure optimal patient care - Work every other weekend and a minimum of 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day/Eve **Requirements:** - **Certifications:** AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required; NIHSS certification needed before start - **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience - **Skills:** Proficient in managing insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheterization care - **Technology:** Epic experience from the last 2 years is mandatory - **Licensing:** Valid NY license or proof of application required at submission **Additional Information:** - Public transportation is NOT accessible, so reliable personal or rental vehicle is essential - Ensure your vehicle is equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
