Acute Care Registered Nurse

Location: Quincy, California
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in California
Med Surg experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg experience
Acute Care experience
BLS
ACLS
PALS

Role Summary

Provides patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Collaborates with other healthcare disciplines to support effective patient care and desired outcomes
Uses knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity in care delivery
Contributes to quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques

Key Skills / Responsibilities

Administer treatments and medications
Interpret diagnostic tests
Formulate a plan of care
Collaborate with other healthcare providers
Provide education to patients and/or significant others
