RN - ICU
Job Overview
- Location: San Antonio, Texas

- Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Call: No
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- 2 or more years of total travel experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Hospital setting
Preferred Experience
- Rotoprone
- CRRT exposure (Prismaflex)
- Meditech experience
Unit Details
- Travelers are required to float
- May float to other areas when census is low, including another ICU in the system
- Common procedures include central lines, bronchoscopy, and bedside trachs
Work Expectations
- Work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block
- Must follow floating guidelines, attendance policies, and unit acknowledgment requirements
Dress Code
- Navy scrubs
- Undershirts and jackets must be white, navy, or black only
- No acrylic nails
- Nails must be no longer than 1/4 inch, clean, and without chipped polish
- Hair must be worn off the shoulders and in a natural color
- Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
- Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
