RN - Behavioral Health

Overview

Travel RN position in Holyoke, Massachusetts
13-week contract
40 hours per week
Orientation is biweekly on Tuesdays
Local candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel

Block scheduling is not available
Weekend coverage is every other weekend or as needed
No call required
Float requirements apply

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
1 year of Behavioral Health experience
Experience in an inpatient Behavioral Health setting
BLS
HWC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Education

BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program

Unit Details

Behavioral health inpatient unit
Patient population includes geriatrics, pediatrics ages 5–17, and adults
Common diagnoses include schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety
Patient ratio is 1:8, with lower ratios in geriatrics and pediatrics
Blue scrubs required
