**Exciting Opportunity for a Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Elizabethtown, NY - **Contract Duration:** 16-26 weeks - **Schedule:** - 3 x 12-hour shifts one week; - 3 x 12-hour shifts & 1 x 8-hour shift the next week; - Minimum of every other weekend required. - **Requirements:** - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS (required prior to start) - Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry - Prior travel experience is a must - Charge experience required (performing in this capacity regularly) - EPIC experience must be from within the past 2 years (non-negotiable) - **Facility Information:** - Total Beds: 25 - Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:5-6 - Ancillary Assistance: CNA/LNA PCT Available - Documentation System: Epic-ClinDoc - Medication System: Pyxis with Epic - **Patient Population:** - Chronic disease exacerbation - Acute infections - Age Range: 17-104 - **Shift Details:** - 3-12 hour shifts per week - Every other weekend and holiday required - Orientation: 1-2 Days - **Special Equipment:** - IV Pumps, Telemetry, CT IV Contrast - Hi-Flow Oxygen Units - **Unit Specific Protocols:** - IV therapy, EKGs, Tele Interpretation - Respiratory treatments including COVID patients - **Transportation Information:** - Public Transportation NOT accessible - Reliable transportation is mandatory (personal vehicle or rental vehicle recommended) - All-season or snow tires recommended from Nov-April - **Employment Gaps:** - Ensure all gaps over 90 days are explained - All work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) must be complete for submission **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
