**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurses - Medical / Surgical (Nursing)** **Job Description:** - **Unit:** MS Stroke Stepdown Patients - **Shift:** 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Flexibility required; block scheduling is not guaranteed) - **Floating:** Required - **Scrub Color:** Navy Blue **Unit Specifics:** - **Common Diagnoses:** - Stroke - Altered mental status - Renal issues - Dialysis - COPD - CHF - Isolation - General med-surg - Pneumonia - Pulmonary issues - **Specialty Equipment:** - IV pumps - N/G tubes - Feeding tubes - **Patient Demographics:** - Adults - **Number of Beds in the Unit:** - 64 **Requirements:** - **Experience:** Minimum 2+ years in Medical/Surgical with stroke stepdown experience and documented travel experience - **Travel Experience:** Required - **Skills Checklist:** Must match specialty - **Licenses:** - Current driver’s license with address matching demographics - NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & all active RN licenses - **Certifications:** - Current AHA BLS - NIHSS (required for this unit; can be obtained prior to start) - **EMR Experience:** EPIC **Ready to apply?** Don’t forget to include any RTO (Requested Time Off) at the time of submission! **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
