Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Fullerton, California
Start date: ASAP
Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week
Ratios: 1:2
First-timers accepted
Floating: may float to mother baby
On-call: not required
Pending license not accepted
Guaranteed hours: facility may call off once per two-week pay period

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
AWHONN Advanced
Must have sterile vaginal exam and triage experience; sterile vaginal exams must be performed independently without supervision
Epic experience required
Must be open to working weekends and may be scheduled every other weekend or more often to meet unit need
Must be able to work 3 of 4 major holidays

Preferred

Scheduling preferences may be considered but are not guaranteed
Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion

RTO must be included at time of submission
Holiday RTO must be signed pending and will be required to work 3 of 4 major holidays
