Physical Therapy
Overview
- Travel assignment in El Paso, Texas
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Day/weekend schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- No call required
Unit / Setting
- Rehab-focused unit that also covers acute and outpatient when volume is down
- 2 PT contractors needed
- 2 full-time PTs on staff
- Typical patient volume:
- Rehab: 5–6 patient care hours
- Acute: 12–15 patients
- Outpatient: 6–7 patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
- Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient Rehab setting
Preferred
- Bilingual
Responsibilities
- PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments for inpatient rehab
- Team conferences
- Family training
- Home assessments
Additional Details
- EMR: Meditech
- Scrub color: Navy
- Not acceptable attire: crocs, visible tattoos
- Facial hair must follow CDC guidelines for workers who wear N95s
