RN NICU Variable Shift

Role Summary

Registered Nurse in a collaborative care setting, responsible for assessing patient needs, initiating appropriate interventions, and providing patient and family education.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Montana
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP
  • STABLE
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • Labor and Delivery experience
  • ED - Emergency Department experience
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Additional Assignment Details

  • 36 hours per week
  • Facility may cancel 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or other unforeseen circumstances

Education / Competency Expectations

  • Initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within 1 year of hire
  • 1 hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
  • Compliance with policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines for hyperacute and acute stroke care
