Operating Room RN

Athens, Texas

Schedule

Day shift
5x8 hours
7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
40 hours per week

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience
OB/GYN experience
ENT Surgery experience
Pain Management experience

Preferred Experience

Travel experience preferred

Role Details

Operating room RN
Circulates for general, ortho, OB, ENT, and podiatry cases
Pain management rotating and weekend call

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

Driver’s license or state ID

7-year background check
Education verification
Highest level of education must be verified
Primary source online license verification
NURSYS verification
Clear headshot for badge
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit test within 1 year of start
Tdap vaccination within 10 years of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Drug screen within 90 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season

Work Restrictions

Does not contract travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties
