Overview

Role Details

• OR circulating nurse
• Experience with neuro/spine, ortho, GYN, urology, robotics, plastics, general/colorectal, burns, transplant (kidney), and trauma
• Call is required: no overnight weekday call; call is in 4-hour increments during evenings and weekends only
• One major and one minor holiday assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR Circulate experience within the last year
• 2 years of OR Circulate experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Orthopedics experience
• Urology experience
• Plastic Surgery experience
• Burn experience
• Trauma experience

Onboarding / Compliance

• Specialty exam completed before first assignment, with a minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark; only 2 attempts allowed
• Core competencies completed within one year of start, with a minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark; only 2 attempts allowed
• Education attestation completed after pre-hire training
• Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
• Cerner test-out required
• Badge photo required
• Criminal background check required
• EPLS required
• OFAC required
• Drug screen required
• Education verification required
