Operating Room RN

Jacksonville, Texas

Day shift
5x8 hours
40 hours per week

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

Clear headshot for badge
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit test within 1 year of start
Tdap within 10 years of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
TB questionnaire if prior TB result is positive
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
Color blind testing
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement

Job Details

Operating room assignment
General, ortho, OB/GYN, GI, colorectal, ENT, and pain cases
Call is split between 3 RNs, averaging 10 shifts per month

Notes

Travel experience is preferred
Candidates residing in certain nearby counties are not accepted
