Pediatric Emergency Room RN

Role Overview

Travel RN for the Pediatric Emergency Room at an offsite freestanding emergency room.

Unit Details

9 beds
Staffing includes 3 RNs per shift, with 1 mid-shift RN/tech
Patient ratios are 4:1 based on acuity, and 1:1 if needed
Floating may include the Main ER, other offsite Freestanding Emergency Rooms, and Pediatric Emergency room
Weekend rotation includes 4 weekend days per schedule

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
CPI

Preferred Qualifications

ENPC

Procedures / Clinical Experience

All labs run by staff onsite
Flu swabs
COVID swabs
Strep swabs
IV placement
Foley catheter placement
EKGs
Moderate sedation

Additional Notes

Best fit is a team player who is flexible with assignments
Royal blue scrubs required
