RN Emergency Dept

Role Overview

Travel RN assignment in the Emergency Department
Unit has 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds
Patient ratio is 1:4
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule includes every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
TNCC
NIHSS
CPI

Preferred Qualifications

NIH Certification
ENPC

Unit Details

Typical procedures include NIH, IV/blood draws, Moderate Sedation, TNK, and Cardiac monitoring
Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and a portable EKG machine
EMR: Meditech
Floating area: N/A
Dress code: royal blue scrubs
