Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Overview

Travel assignment in Lewisville, Texas
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit

Ultrasound 729 & Vascular Ultrasound 743
196-bed facility
On-call is rotating and shared between 7 sonographers
Floating scope includes General Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound

Required Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist (1 year of experience)
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
RDMS (AB) or RDMS (OB)
RVT (VT) or RVS
BLS
ARRT (S)
ARDMS
Vascular Sonographer experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Vascular, Pedi, General, Procedural, Small Parts, or some OR experience

Procedures / Clinical Experience

Abdomen
Pregnancy 1st and 2nd trimesters
Biophysical Profile
Vascular studies including Venous Doppler, Arterial, Grafts, and Segmental Pressure Testing
Biopsies
Thoracentesis
Paracentesis
Testicular studies
NICU Neuro Sono Heads
Surgery cases
High-level disinfection for intra-cavitary probes
