RN - L&D
Location
- Smyrna, Tennessee
Assignment Details
- Travel assignment
- 36 hours per week
- 13 weeks
- Unit: Women’s Services
- Main hospital
- 9 L&D beds, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and 3-bed OBED
- Patient ratio: 1-2
- 4 weekend shifts per month
- Can float to m/b or outside the department to task
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Fetal Monitoring
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN
- Spinning babies
- STABLE
Unit Procedures / Clinical Experience
- Circulating in OR
- IUPC
- FSE
- MgSO4
- pp hemorrhage - JADA system
- Nitrous oxide
Unit Highlights
- Unit secretary and scrub tech available
- Dedicated CRNA and midwife in-house 24/7
- OBGYN on call
- Laborist team model
- Couplet care in postpartum unit
- Donor milk available when needed
- 8-bed level 2 NICU with NNP dedicated 24/7
- NNP available to attend all high-risk deliveries when needed
