Tele RN
Overview
- Travel RN role in Corpus Christi, Texas.
- Unit has 22 beds.
- Patient ratio is up to 6:1.
- Hours per week: 36.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience.
- ACLS.
- BLS.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience in an Acute Care setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience working with Neuro patients, including CVA, TIA, and AMS.
- RN background in neuro/neuro-surgery or ortho.
- Med/Surg/Telemetry background.
Unit Details
- Floor: 3 East.
- Building: Doctors Regional.
- Med/surg unit.
- Floating area: med/surg units.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Care for med/surg patients.
- IV insertions.
- Urinary catheter insertion and maintenance.
- Central line maintenance.
- Medication administration.
- Communication with the care team.
- Documentation in EHR.
- Continuous Bladder Irrigation.
- NGT insertion and maintenance.
