Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring TX or compact RN license and 2 years of experience.

Details

  • Support MS/Tele, PCU, and critical care patients, with floating to these areas during low census
  • MS/Tele patient ratio 6:1; critical care patient ratio 2:1
  • Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:00

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • 2 years of experience in profession required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • Trauma Level II experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for a positive result
  • Candidates should avoid CBD products and other substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to arrival
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
