Unit Details
- 3 West
- 22-bed unit
- Standard equipment
- Meditech EMR
- Floating area: med/surg units
- Rotating weekends
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 1 year of telemetry experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years ortho nursing experience
Clinical Focus
- Care of med/surg ortho patients
- Standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, communication with the care team, and documentation in EHR
