RN - Rapid Response
Overview
- Travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina
- 8-week contract
- 48 hours guaranteed
- OT after 48
- RTO/special scheduling will not be accommodated
Unit
- Peds and Oncology unit
- 19 total beds: 13 pediatric beds and 6 oncology beds
- Floor 3P, Building G
- Floating area(s): PICU, NICU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics (2 years of experience)
- Pediatrics experience within the last year
- Rapid Response experience
- BLS
- PALS
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric experience in a hospital
- Pediatric Oncology
Required Certifications for the Unit
- APHON for oncology
Schedule
- 6 weekend shifts, including 2 Saturdays
Additional Details
- Orientation includes 4 hours of hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
- EMR: Cerner
- Equipment: Alaris pumps
- Best fit: detail oriented and organized
