Emergency Department RN
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- CPI
- ENPC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Trauma experience
- Stroke experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Adult and pediatric emergency department experience
- Experience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis
- Completed certifications aligned with the contract and pool requirements
Unit Details
- Emergency department with 30 beds
- Typical patient ratio is up to 1:5, depending on acuity
- Uses advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines
- EMR is Meditech, with a planned move to Expanse on 8/13/26
Clinical Experience Highlights
- Thoracotomy
- Arterial lines and MTP
Work Environment
- Flexible, accountable, responsible, and team-oriented
- May float to two free-standing emergency departments if needed
