CT Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Denver, Colorado
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Shift: Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- Unit: CT Scan 3rd Floor
- Main hospital, 3rd floor
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist with 6 months of experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R)
- BLS
- Experience in an acute care setting
- IV insertion skills
- Experience with IV contrast injection
Preferred
- Trauma and Stroke
- IV skills
Unit Details
- 3 CT scanners, soon to be 4
- Staff includes 13 total: 8 FT, 1 PT, 3 PRN, and 1 transporter
- Day shift staffing includes 1 charge, 4 day techs, 2 mid-shift, and 1 transporter Monday through Friday
- Night shift staffing includes 2 techs
- Equipment includes GE Revolution 512 scanner, GE Evolution 128 scanner, GE 64 slice scanner in OP, and 128 GE Frontier
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Stroke, trauma, head and chest
- Abdomen/pelvis and CTA

- Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence
- Level 1 Trauma
- New scanner installed 10/5/20
- Close to Denver University and downtown Denver
