Med Surg RN
Overview
- Travel assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee
- Unit: 2 west
- 30 beds
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- IV insertion skills
- Experience with NG tubes
- Experience with wound care
- Experience with cardiac or critical care drips
Unit Details
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Floating: will float between 2 North and 2 west
- Scheduling: every other weekend and holiday rotation; block scheduling is not guaranteed
- Documentation system: editech
Unit Environment
- 2-3 techs per shift
- Clinical coordinator on days varies
- Charge nurse, manager, and director support
- Family environment
