CT Technologist

Overview

Contract role in Lancaster, Ohio.
Full-time nights: 7PM-7:30AM, every 3rd weekend.
Schedule follows a 3-week rotation:
- Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Friday
- Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT (Radiography).
ARRT (CT).
Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio.
BLS.
CT Technologist experience within the last year.
1 year of CT Technologist experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting.

Role Details

Performs diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians with invasive CT procedures.
Prepares examinations for interpretation, maintains radiation safety, and helps maintain supplies.
Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon order of an approved healthcare provider.
Provides handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
Operates CT and related equipment, facility-based computer systems, and administers oral and intravenous contrast media under physician/per protocol direction.
Transports, moves, and positions patients safely.
Assists physicians with special procedures involving CT.
Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities related to CT.
