ICU Float Pool Registered Nurse

Role Overview

ICU float pool RN
Floats to MS/Tele/PCU/overflow units as needed, including Overflow PACU and other MS/Tele/PCU stepdown units
Start dates accepted: 11/2, 11/16, or 12/2

Schedule

Night shift: 19:00–7:30
36 or 48 hours available
Weekend requirement: yes
No scheduling requests can be accommodated
No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
Must work 3 of 5 holidays

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PA line/Swan Ganz experience
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

This is a float position
EKG exam is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed to continue with the contract
