RN - Emergency Dept
Role
- Travel RN in the Emergency Department (Free Standing)
Unit
- Emergency Department
- 10 procedure rooms
- 1 trauma room
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- MOAB
- TNCC
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of ED experience for HCA hired staff
- Strong understanding of EKG interpretation
Unit Details
- 12 staff members
- Patient ratio: 5:1, with flexibility when using the trauma room
- Floating: Main ER if needed, not to other units
- Every other weekend for contract labor and FSER staff

Additional Notes
- RNs work with policy-written protocols based on chief complaint
- Workup includes labs, EKGs, x-rays, medications, and initial patient care
- RNs run POC lab testing for all patients
- Work with providers for medical screening exam within 10 minutes of arrival
