Cardiac ICU RN
Overview
- Travel RN assignment in Cardiac ICU
- Unit: Cardiac ICU / (654)
- 16-bed unit
- 3rd floor, Main building
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1-year current ICU hospital experience
- CVICU (1 year of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with neuro population and medical ICU population
- Prior Meditech experience
Unit Details
- Staffed with 60 total staff
- Day shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT
- Night shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT
- Patient ratio: 1 RN to 2 patients
- Equipment includes cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan

- Intubations
- Central line placement

- 24/7 physician coverage, including intensivist, neuro-intensivist, and trauma surgeon
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment
