ICU RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Burbank, California
- Start date: ASAP
- 13-week contract
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Acute care hospital with 392 staffed beds
- Charting system: Meditech
- Free parking
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke (Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke (Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Neuro patients
Schedule and Staffing
- Every other weekend required, with 4 weekend shifts in each 4-week scheduling period
- May float to like units as needed to meet facility needs
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
- On-call not required
- Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Preferred
- Experience with specialized equipment for the facility
- Skills checklist showing 3s–4s
