CT Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
- Unit: Radiology
- Building: Main Campus
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
- CT Tech role performing routine CT exams for ED and IP patients
- Must be able to operate GE CT equipment independently
- The unit performs an average of 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners
- Staffing described as 2 techs per scanner during the day and 3 techs overnight
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT
- BLS
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
Preferred Qualifications
- CT preferred
Procedures / Patient Population
- Routine CT exams for ED and IP patients
- Trauma pan scans
- Head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
