RN - MED SURG - NIGHTS
Role Overview
- Contract RN position in Medical Surgical nursing
- Location: Moab, Utah
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, nights, 6PM to 6AM
- Hours: 36 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Utah
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years medical/surgical experience
Clinical Setting
- Medical-surgical department
- Patient population includes post-partum neonates through geriatrics
- Areas of responsibility include medical, surgical, high acuity, rehabilitative, skilled, and pediatric care
- Opportunity to expand into post-partum care and infusion and wound therapies
- Opportunity to cross-train in the Emergency Department and/or PACU
Additional Notes
- Rural nursing setting
- Knowledge of infection control principles, patient safety techniques, and prevention of adverse reactions to medications/treatments is expected
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Requires strong critical thinking, communication, confidentiality, professionalism, reliability, and flexibility
